The Ugly Feet Cure

Suffering from chapped skin, odor, rashes, or perhaps foot or nail fungus?  As always, I will say that some symptoms call for medical attention and are possibly signs for underlying illnesses or ailments.  But, if your symptoms appear to be payback for ignoring your feet for a period of time, the remedies/recipes mentioned may assist in getting your 'baby' feet back.  Cconsider these easy tricks to avoid the shame in showing of your toes this Summer:

Foot Polish - *great for dry skin
Mix brown sugar with coconut oil, and massage concoction into feet.  Pay close attention to cracks in heels.  Wrap feet in plastic wrap for 30-45 minutes.

Foot Scrub- *address odor and cracks in feet
Mix cornstarch with aloe vera juice to form a mud-like paste.  Rub small batch of mixture over feet.  Cleanse with warm water once the product has set and completely dried out.

Foot Milk Bath- *soothe aches and pain for disgruntle toes
Mix warm milk and blueberries in a small tub/bucket/bowl.  Let your feet rest in the bowl for 30 minutes, then rinse with warm water.  Blueberries are packed with both vitamins a and c.  This easy recipe will leave your feet soft to the touch and improve the overall appearance.

Foot Zest- *refresh and cleanse feet
Grind orange/and or lemon peels into a powder substance, along with essential oils like peppermint, rosemary, or eucalyptus.  Rinse with fresh warm water.  This will freshen your pretty toes in addition to clearing up fungus and bacteria.  Perform this technique once every few days for about a week.

Foot Salt Scrub- *remove dead skin
Mix sea salt with coconut or olive oil.  Vigorously rub on feet and wear a pair of old socks for an hour or so.  The longer you wear the socks, the more effective this process will be.

I of course have my own homemade remedies that I prefer to use at times, but if you are in need of a quick fix, consider paying $20 and purchase Baby Feet at Amazon.com  http://www.amazon.com/Baby-Foot-Easy-Pack-1-2/dp/B00461F4PA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1364397203&sr=8-1&keywords=baby+feet.  This is a natural product that's so easy to use.

Unbelievable results are possible for your feet if you start giving them the tlc they deserve!!

Moroccan Red Clay - hair and beauty treatments

Red clay is one of my recent discoveries.  I came across the name numerous times while surfing the Internet, and only read great reviews.  I decided to make a purchase a few months back, and finally put this clay to use. Most of you know that I have tried several clays, and have been satisfied with each one.  I try to keep them on hand and tend to use them more for my hair than for my face or body.  My favorite clays are Indian clay and Kaolin clay.  Simply add water, aloe vera juice, and/or apple cider vinegar, and you've created an instant paste.  The amount of liquid used will of course be based on what you're creating; facial, hair conditioner, foot application, etc. Red clay can also be used on the body, head to toe.  It has been used for centuries- across the world.   Tackle blemishes or create cleaner and clearer skin.  Alleviate acne, discoloration and create youthful skin.  If you are suffering from any of...

Self Care- Make it a Habit

Self care habits in progress. I feel so good when I take time out to treat myself. It pleases me  even more when the practice is inexpensive. Polishing my nails, at-home facial, or sometimes a lengthy shower or bath.  It's extremely important to make time for yourself. I know we hear this often, but self care really promotes mental and physical health. If you're having a rough day, challenging week, or simply feeling  overwhelmed or unenthusiastic about circumstances, I strongly urge you to make time for yourself. I find that I am able to think clearer, and my stress levels are reduced significantly after I practice self care.  Sharing a few self care pics below; at home facial, read book alone in the car, or outside in the sun, make a fun (favorite drink) to enjoy alone, or try an at home mani/pedicure. I also find drawing and painting extremely relaxing. Perhaps you can take a walk or get your heart pumping by exercising. Try slower movements with yoga or pilates....
