I was recently forced into implementing this practice, and also staying present in that moment, (ignore calls, e-mails, busy thoughts of what you could be doing, and where you could be instead). Can we all agree that when we take time out for ourselves, that we are better prepared to take on the world? That refreshed feeling is ideal, and ultimately necessary, when you have random lists and projects thrown your way. So save yourself, and prep for a mental health detox now. There are so many options available to you fit the detox your liking; detox for a day, 10-day detox, 30 day detox, or whatever your heart desires!
If you're going with a 1-day detox, add it to your calendar at least twice a month so that you can ensure that it takes place. Pulling out my calendar now......
